Log your Activity Check here.
Activity Check is due on the last day of each month. Because activity is logged in a g-doc, you have the entire month to fill it in. If you have successfully completed your activity on the 2nd day of the month, you can log it on the 2nd day and not have to think about it again until next month.
After the last day of the month there is a 3 day grace period to turn in your threads. These threads, however, cannot have been started or finished during that grace period. They must be threads where all requirements were met within the activity period.
The activity requirements here are as follows:
30 comments over at least 2 threads, with each thread having at least 10 comments.
That's it. Activity check is to be logged in the AC doc, linked above. All you need to do is link at least 2 threads, each with at least 10 comments posted by you, with the comment count adding up to at least 30 comments total posted by you and with the overall thread started after the 1st of the month and the required comments posted before the end of the month. To make this more explicit, here are some examples.
Allowed: You start a thread on July 1st. You reach 10 comments by July 31st. This thread counts for AC for the month of July. You have another thread with 20 comments started on July 15th. This thread counts for AC for the month of July as well, and fulfills the requirements for AC.
Allowed: You have three threads, all started on July 1st and finished by July 31st, with 10 comments each. You can submit these three threads for AC and your requirements will have been met.
Not Allowed: For the month of July, you have five threads with 6 comments each. This adds up to 30 comments -- however, because the threads do not have at least 10 comments each, they do not count for AC.
Not Allowed: For the month of July, you have one thread with 30+ comments. This thread can be used for AC, but you will need one more thread with at least 10 comments in order to fully meet the requirements.
Not Allowed: You start a thread on June 20th. You reach 10 comments by July 31st. This thread will not count for AC for July. This is true even if you manage to rack up 10 comments just in the month of July -- we're measuring from the start of the thread, not just how many comments are made within that month. This is basically to ensure that people are playing with what is happening in IC time at least a little bit. You don't need to drop threads after two days or tag into each post in the first hour it goes up, but each month you are expected to engage with things that are ICly occurring within that month.
Going on Hiatus will get you a free pass from AC for one month. If you need longer than a month, you'll need to contact me OOCly and give me a heads up -- this is just to make sure that you want to keep playing! Probably what will happen is I'll ask you to opt for the 'lost in the woods' hiatus option, since the autopilot option is better for a short hiatus. Don't forget that it's totally possible for you to drop and reapp!
