FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: Help! What is currently going on in this game's plot? A: Currently, the plot is centered around the recent (as in, shortly after the shades became trapped in the town by the Spill following the Final Game and its aftermath.) disappearance of the Horned God, the group's presiding Arbiter, and Aesthesia, who sure knows an awful lot about the Forest and Spill. There is, in addition, the relationship between Decay (and the Spill by extension), and Harvest. By the next plot event in September, we will have a full plot summary page written up for more detailed information with specific events and a timeline listed, but for now you can check out this, which includes links to information gathered IC about the plot and setting, and also hit up the event tag for the more major (or silly) happening! Q: When do games and events occur? A: For scheduling questions, please check the Calendar! In addition, claims will be made by game and event runners on the OOC comm when they occur, and our monthly announcements will have dates for all currently claimed slots in the upcoming month. Q: What are the teams, and what are their current conditions? What is the status of the town? A: The teams are detailed here, and the status of their buildings (and the town as a whole) can be found here. In addition, here is a spreadsheet detailing the powers each team has gained via events and games. Information about the town proper is here, and we also have a map of the town. Q: Are there plans for Good End drops to be available to us? A: No, nor is it likely there will be until the end of the plot mid-2018. Q: I want to play an arbiter/run a game or event without an arbiter! A: If you just want to do a mingle where Cool Interesting things happen, go ahead! Just remember that it must be something that can be ignored if people don't want to play with it. If you want to play an Arbiter or run a game or heavier event, just ask us through whatever venue you find comfortable! We'll get you set up to do it and give you the information you need. We encourage all players to throw up themed and status effect mingles for anything they feel would be interesting, as well! Q: How many games and events are there per month? A: We are currently going by the rule of 3 games per month and one large event. This is subject to change and not a hard and fast rule, depending entirely on the mood of the game and intensity of currently planned games and events. Q: How do we change the setting/team dorms/gain or upgrade powers? A: These will be done as rewards for games, events, and also if you want to undertake fun exploration/hunting things on your own there will be rewards in this vein for doing that as well! Q: Where/when is AC? A: Activity is processed on the first of every month, and the spreadsheet can be filled out at any time during the month! Q: Can we explore the setting? A: Absolutely, and we encourage this! Please let us know if you or someone you know wants to have an adventure out in the forest/swim across the river/stay out at night/harass some wildlife/etc. and we'll do a thing for you! Q: Where did Horned God go? They were really cool and funny... A: Where do any of us go? Where are any of us going? That's the question we're all here to solve, right? Our path forward may be blocked now, and our only hope for crossing the river completely destroyed, but that doesn't mean anything has really changed. Horned God understands that. Horned God understood that. In times like these, there's no use worrying about things we can't possibly know. Even if those questions were answered, they would only bring more uncertainty, spark the flames of disaster, and breed more despair and hopelessness.
